About the Book
This books provides an overview of Polars, a shiny new data analysis for Python. Pandas, the defacto data analysis library for Python has been around forever and has proven its worth over time but it is not without drawbacks, most notably is its inability to natively make use of all cores on a multicore. Polars is a new libary for data analysis that promises to remedy some of the draw backs of pandas.
This books explores the polars library and looks at how to get things done in contrast to pandas. This is packed with practical case studies on how to solve a broad set of data analysis problems using Polars.
