These are the five core principles of Lean Self:
- Define value. You are the one who defines what makes your life valuable.

- Pull value. Continuously pull what is valuable for you.

These principles are derived from the original Lean Management principles.
I aim for 50 exercises in this book. The completion percentage is 50% + number of exercises already available.

I’m a husband and dad and work as quality & risk manager at a major IT company. In my job I learned about Lean Management. While emptying the dishwasher one day I discovered that its use is not limited to business. This is why I founded my blog leanself.org.
OK, what happened in the kitchen?
Some time ago, I made an amazing discovery while emptying the dishwasher. I had started to dig into Lean Management principles and was thinking about it while doing housework. I quickly saw that the Lean approach is not only suitable for companies and organizations. The fundamentals of Lean are so natural you can apply them to your whole life, not just to your paid work. Imagine how I stood in front of the dishwasher, musing how to reduce the boring task to empty it. Applying Lean instantly gave me the goal: Reduce running around.
On my blog, I'm trying to transfer this discovery to more than dishwashing.
